We discussed the way Joe Biden is acting like Richard Nixon did in 1970, when he called students “bums” and led to campus upheavals which culminated in the deaths of 4 students at Kent State. We also discussed the way many Democratic officials have been responsible for the violent attacks on nonviolent protestors despite their proclaimed respect for liberal ideals of free expression.
And then Scott and Bob spoke about the responses in their communities–environmental groups and the universities, where liberals are often upset over the rhetoric of protests (“from the river to the sea” or “intifada”) but say little about Israel’s slaughters in Gaza.
