Evan Mascagni is the Policy Director of the Public Participation Project, a nonprofit dedicated to combating Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) through state and federal anti-SLAPP legislation. A former attorney turned documentary filmmaker and First Amendment rights advocate, Evan is committed to defending the free speech rights of filmmakers, journalists, and activists nationwide.
