Scrappy Father’s Day | Cornel West, NO!, The 699 Club, Cormac McCarthy and radical history this week

In our latest Scrappy Sunday, aka Scrappy Father’s Day this week, we opened with this week in radical history, featuring a discussion of the Taft-Hartley Act (and liberal complicity in it).

Then we discussed our main topic, Cornel West’s candidacy for president, which we opposed–for different reasons than the Democrats and liberals–because it continues the electoral fetishism that too many people have. And we also discussed the (bigoted) life of Pat Robertson and his impact on American political life.

And then we close with a tribute to great American novelist Cormac McCarthy.
