Scott and Bob got together to commemorate, actually reminisce, about the March 2003 US invasion of Iraq. We talked about the ramp-up to the war, especially from 9/11 onward, but spent a lot of time discussing our actions here in Houston, our roots in the anti-globalization movement, and how we pivoted to become the most important left group in Houston opposing the war and holding vigils in front of Halliburton, and later disrupting the company’s shareholders meeting.
